Marcos Valle is first of all a Brazilian singer, songwriter and record producer and without doubt one of the major songwriters of MPB (Brazilian Popular Music). As well he is the author of more than three hundred songs, with music that has been recorded by artists like Sarah Vaugahn, Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Brubeck, Astrud Gilberto, Sergio Mendes and many, many more. Marcos Valle is furthermore a composer from the so-called "second wave" of bossa nova musicians. His swingy, dance-driven style, supported by inventive grooves, easily fit the European dance floors, where his music became hip in the 90s, in the midst of the drum’n’bass fever, helping create a new style: the drum’n’bossa. And even today his Live Show´s are a „must see“.
